Coach Matt Gilmer
Coach Matt Sandlot Baseball Academy in 2015. Coach Matt played High School Baseball at Sequoia High School in Redwood City California and went to San Francisco City College where he had his 3rd shoulder surgery that ended his career.
Coach Matt was the Junior Varsity head coach at Menlo Atherton, before going to spend one semester at San Francisco City college as a outfielders coach that was shortened by covid. After Covid Coach Matt coached two years at Crystal Springs Uplands serving as the Head Varsity Coach before heading to Ripon High school to be the Junior Varsity Head Coach for a year before being promoted to Head Varsity Head Coach.
Coach Dillon Ponce
Coach Dillon Ponce played his High School Baseball at James Logan High School in Fremont, CA. Coach Dillon was set to attend Dominican University in Chicago to play baseball before tearing his UCL. After a short time off coach Dillon got back into baseball by signing a independent league contract with the Santa Cruz Seaweeds of the Pecos League. Coach Dillon served as the assistant head coach for junior varsity at Ripon and will be promoted to the pitching coach on Varsity this year.
Coach Jaydin Alvarez
Coach Jaydin Alvarez played his high school baseball at East Union High School in Manteca, Ca. After his time at East Union Coach Jaydin received a scholarship to play NAIA baseball at William Jessup university in Rocklin, Ca where he played two years of baseball there. Coach Jaydin will be serving as a pitching coach for Sandlot Baseball.
